At the end of 2018, we were honored to receive the opportunity to design a Chinese New Year gift box for The Toast.

Challenge

Need to be done within a 2 weeks time frame before Chinese New Year.

Solution

We suggest a classic and premium design package as prosperity and wealth to wish the customers when they received.

Rich and premium overall visual presentation.

Design

The target audience of the original packaging was middle-aged adults. So for this gift box design, in addition to retaining the traditional Chinese New Year elements, it needs to feel elegant. We utilize clouds and flowers to express the feeling of prosperity, happiness, and nobility. While combining it with the color red, it shows a mighty and energetic feel to the audience.

Concept

The highlight of The Toast logo and brand identity is the extended features that maintain its traditional graphics with a modern touch. Together with the embossed imprint, it makes the visuals of the design much more effective.
